Forbidden Love
Chapter 5

Saturday morning I woke up to see my sisters sitting at the foot of my bed staring at me. I screamed, not expecting to see them making them scream. I sat up. “Get out of my room!” I yelled.

“No!” Amber yelled. “Not until you tell us why JC Chasez has offered to show you around LA!”

I rolled my eyes and fell back against my pillows. “Alex you have a big mouth.” She frowned.” I don’t know why he offered to show me around LA, but I’m not going.”

My sisters all gasped, and April said, “Girl, you better go. This is JC Chasez we’re talking about not some high school kid.”

I looked at April. “I called my friends last night. We’re planning to meet for an on-line virtual chat this afternoon.”

“OH PLEASE,” said Ashley “you can chat with your friends tomorrow.”

I gave my sisters all an annoyed look. “If you guys like JC so much why don’t you hang out with him today. Let him show you around LA.”

“He didn’t ask us,” said April. “He asked you which means he likes you.”

“Oooh,” both Annie and Allison said with a giggle. I smiled to myself and turned over in bed.

Alex caught my smile. She jumped on me. “He likes you, doesn’t he?”

“Get off of me!” I yelled and shoved her away. “I’m too young for him. He said so himself.” I quickly caught what I said, but it was too late. My sisters caught what I said too.

“What do you mean he said so himself?” Ashley asked curiously. “Did he ask you out?”

I pulled the covers over my face. “Get out of my room,” I said with a groan.

The girls looked each other. A smile slowly formed on each of their lips, and April said, “I got the door.” She ran to close it.

Ashley pulled the covers off of me. “Adrienne, this is just between us sisters. Did JC ask you out?”

A smiled crept on my face and I sat up. “No, but that’s what he told me.”

My sisters squealed and April held one hand up to quiet them. “What made him change his mind?”

“I told him I was 17.”

“Why would you do that?” asked Alex.

“I wouldn’t have told him if I had known he was going to ask me out.” I laughed. “I’m not stupid.”

Ashley glanced at her twin sister April. “We’re old enough to go out with him.”

“Yes, but JC doesn’t like us. He likes-” She paused a Moment and a smile formed on her lips. “Are you thinking what I’m think you’re thinking?”

She nodded with an identical smile. “We can pull a Robby.”

I looked at my big sisters and laughed knowing we would never be able to pull off a Robby. A “Robby” was a trick we would pull to fool our parents into thinking we were dating guys our own age when we really weren’t. We named our trick after my first relationship with an older boy.

“It will never work,” I said. “JC is a celebrity.”

Alex nodded. “She has a point. They will be followed by paparazzi and Daddy will find out.”

“No I think we can do it,” said April. “We just have to be careful.”

I shook my head. “No it’s too risky. If I get caught it will ruin it for everyone.” I looked at Allison and Amber. “Amber is being my Robbie right now. I can’t ruin that for Allison.”

“Yeah don’t ruin it for me,” said Allison. I chuckled softly.

“Fine we won’t do it,” said Ashley “but I still think you should take JC up on his offer and let him show you around LA.”

I thought for a moment. “Um, okay I’ll go. I’ll call JC.”
