Forbidden Love
Chapter 4
I followed behind my sisters into the house and slammed the door behind me. Today was my first day at my new school and I hated it and everyone. This was my senior year, and it supposed to be an amazing experience but it was anything but that. I was in a place I did want to be.
Angrily, I threw down my backpack and at the top of lungs, I screamed, “I WANT TO MOVE BACK TO HOUSTONNN!”
“Bad day?”
I turned around and saw JC at the front door. He had gone out to his car to get something and was coming back in. I sighed. “I hate LA.”
“Hate is such a strong word.” He smiled at me. “Give it some time it will grow on you.”
“I doubt it.” I picked up my backpack. “What are doing here?”
”You’re Dad is helping me with my album.”
“Oh that’s nice.” I turned to walk away.
“Are you free Saturday?”
“What?” I stopped and turned back to JC. He smiled at me.
“Are you free this Saturday?”
“Yeah, why?”
“I was wondering if you want to do something.”
“Did you forget? I’m just 17.”
He chuckled softly. “I know I haven’t forgotten. I just want to hang out as friends. I can show you around LA.”
I made a face. “I don’t know.”
“At least think about it. I already asked your Dad. He’s fine with me showing you around. He’s hoping I can change your mind about living here.”
Laughing, I walked upstairs to my bedroom. “Are you miracle worker?”
“I don’t think so,” said JC. “Why?”
I stopped at the top of the stairs and looked down at him. “Because it’s going to take a miracle to change my mind about living here.” I walked away to my bedroom.
